Mission Creep
Mission Creep, also called mission drift, is when your activities within the organization begin to demonstrate something different than the mission indicates as your desired outcomes. It affects many organizations as they attempt to meet the different and changing needs of funders, client populations, and other stakeholders. You will want to ensure that your business bylaws are written to guard the mission.
If you endeavor to open perspectives, expand options, and feed constructive dialogue, you can make a real difference in the world. Inspire. That’s it. Get out there and inspire.
